The Future of App Design
Material design is a design principle that has recently been introduced by google designers in their course to improve the design field. Their aim is to emulate real world objects as a part of their design solutions. For example: when scrolling through the google apps, their approach is to have the applications have a similar look to reading through a book. This is evident by the layering in google based apps like YouTube that have shadows beneath each of their subsequent screens giving the feel of flipping/reading through a book.
